Terri Chauncy
Athletic Secretary
Terri graduated from Charlton County High School in 1980 and attended Waycross Junior College. She has been employed by the Lowndes County schools for 13 years, starting as a paraprofessional and then secretary at Hahira Middle School. Terri joined the Athletic Department in March 2008. She also works with the Technology Department and the Department of Information, Accountability, and Research.
Mrs. Chauncey has been married to Lynn Chauncey for 29 years. They have two sons: Jonathan and Jeremy. |

C. Curt Starling, M.D.
Associate Team Physician
Orthopedics
Dr. Starling, a native of Valdosta and former Valedictorian at Lowndes High School, graduated summa cum laude with highest honors from the University of Georgia. He earned his medical degree at Emory University School of Medicine where he was named the James L. Campbell Scholar in Medicine. He completed his orthopedic surgery residency at Emory University and his sports medicine fellowship in Knoxville, Tennessee, at the Knoxville Orthopedic Clinic/University of Tennessee, where he was actively involved with caring for University of Tennessee athletes.
Board certified with the American Board of Orthopedic Surgery, he is a member of the American Orthopedic Society for Sports Medicine, the Arthroscopy Association of North America, and the American Academy of Orthopedic Surgeons.
Dr. Starling specializes in surgery of the knee and shoulder. His focus is on arthroscopic surgery, sports medicine, and total knee arthroplasty. He serves as Associate Team Physician for Orthopedics for Lowndes High Athletics and several other local high schools athletic departments.
Dr. Starling and his wife, Amanda, have two children, Sheridan and Sky. During his free time, he enjoys weightlifting, running, and biking. |
