TD Club Parking Info
A successful program will always translate to a larger fan base and the majority of that fan base always looks for ways to support their team. The Vikings have had tremendous success over the last ten years and as a result, the number of fans has grown substantially. One of the ways a team’s fans can support is by joining their local touchdown club. Many of you have done just that and with your membership have received privileges as part of the package…reserved parking passes being one of those perks.

You may have noticed how crowded the Touchdown Club reserved parking area has become, especially during important regular season games and all playoff games. Over the last few years we have made improvements to the parking area such as fencing, expanding the number of spaces, and hiring parking attendants. The Touchdown Club will continue to strive for improvements, but we ask for your patience as we review the parking situation in conjunction with Lowndes High School and the Lowndes Board of Education.

We understand many of you value this membership privilege, but we remind you there are a limited number of spaces as evidenced by the fence boundary. Some of you have been told there are no spaces remaining upon your arrival at the stadium. To ensure parking space is available, we ask you to consider arriving earlier or carpool if at all possible. We also ask that you not set up for tailgates inside the reserved parking area. We must park all vehicles beginning at the front of the lot and moving towards the back to ensure we maximize the current parking area. Lowndes High has provided an area outside the boundary of our parking area specifically reserved for all tailgaters.

The Lowndes Board of Education, Lowndes High School, and the Viking Touchdown Club will continue to strive to ensure your visits to Martin Stadium are an enjoyable and pleasant experience.

As always, we appreciate your support of Lowndes Viking football!

The Lowndes Viking Touchdown Club meets the 2nd Monday of each month for a monthly business meeting (12 months). During Labor Day week the Touchdown Club meets on Tuesday night.

Also, each Monday following a Friday night game the club meets and reviews the film of the previous game. Coach McPherson reviews the highlights from the previous Friday, discusses the upcoming opponent, and answers any questions the members might have.

The Touchdown Club has its meetings in the Lowndes High School Media Center during the season, and the fieldhouse during the offseason.
