Philip Pieplow M.Ed ATC/L
Athletic Trainer
Coach Pieplow is beginning his 9th year as Head Athletic Trainer for Lowndes High School. He also teaches in the Health and Physical Education Department.
Philip is a native of Valdosta, graduating in 1992 from Valdosta High School. He graduated Cum Laude from Valdosta State University in 1996 with a B.S. degree in Sports Medicine. In 2001, he received his Master of Education in Health & Physical Education from Valdosta State.
He is certified as an athletic trainer by the National Athletic Trainers Association Board of Certification, and he is licensed by the Georgia Board of Athletic Trainers to practice athletic training in the state. Currently, he is a member of the National Trainers Association and a region representative for the Georgia Athletic Trainers Association.
Philip’s family includes his wife, the former Libby Hargrove of Americus, Georgia, and a 3 year-old daughter, Bailey. They are members of the Messiah Lutheran Church of Valdosta.
