THE BREAKFAST CLUB

The Viking Feeding Program has been a huge success for our football program.  It is funded by the Viking Touchdown Club and its purpose is to provide the food and nutrition well-being that the members of our football team need.

A key component to the success of this program are the Breakfast Moms who serve breakfast every morning, prepare sandwiches for away games, prepared camp meals, and serve in many other ways.  Lead by Tina Gordon-Murdaugh these Mama’s Feeding Plowboys are the heart and sold of the Feeding Program.  These wonderful ladies were recognized during the pre-game ceremonies of the Lowndes – Colquitt game.  They are Tina Gordon-Murdaugh, Stacy Shaw, Leigh Worn, April Almond, Tina Harrell, Kathy Corbett, Liz Touchton, Davina Lee, Mae Stokes, Laine Tedder, Shannon Cook, and Terri Chauncey – Athletic Department Admin Assistant.  The ladies were presented roses, an apron, and a shirt by Viking Touchdown Club President Bruce Hayden, LHS Principal LeAnn McCall and Superintendent Wes Taylor.

The aprons that were presented to the Breakfast Moms were donated by Terri Chauncey and her service not only to the Feeding Program but also to the total athletic program is invaluable.  The Touchdown Club thanks Terri for all her help.

Viking Fans can help support the Feeding Program by purchasing one the aprons from Terri at the ticket office.  Aprons are only $10 each and all proceeds go to the Feeding Program.
